Stood at height of 180 meter hill, Chittorgarh fort covers an expanse of 700 acres. Constructed by the Mauryans, it was laid as a masterpiece in the 7th century AD. Many myths were believed that it was constructed by Bhima of the Pancha Pandavas. Kalika Mata Temple
Laid in the 8th century, Kalika Mata Temple is earlier dedicated to Sun God. Later on, it has been converted to a temple to get blessings of the mother Goddess.
